Generation for the week

I’m grabbing data from the GivEnergy cloud because it draws pretty graphs, so I don’t have to.

Solar generation and usage chart

The first week or May has netted us around 50% more power than the last week or April with around 150kWh of generation.

There’s still way too much going back to the grid for my liking but I found another setting I’d enabled in the GivEnergy app that hopefully (fingers crossed) now I’ve disabled it will let the inverter do actual solar forecasting and not simply charge the battery to 100% overnight so we can make more used of what we’re generating through the day. I guess we’ll find out this evening, or rather in the morning.
