Generation for the week

Firstly, I acknowledge this is not the first week that our system was generating power and I might back fill even more data at some point but I think this is enough history for now to prevent the blog from filling up with too many historical posts ending up out of order.

Unsure how best to format these posts yet so I’m just going to throw some details up and see how it looks for the moment. Obviously it’s a bit out of sync date wise as the blog didn’t even exist at the time but I’m going to back fill a couple of weeks to start the ball rolling.

I’m grabbing data from the GivEnergy cloud because it draws pretty graphs, so I don’t have to.

Solar generation and usage chart

I think this is our biggest solar week since our system went live at the end of October 2022 (blog posts for the solar system install coming at some point, honestly). Hopefully we’ll see a few more weeks like this as the weather improves.

We exported a whopping 103kWh back to the grid during this week and at the moment we’re not getting paid for that because we’re not registered for the Smart Export Guarantee. It’s on my list of things to chase up our installers for as we need a copy of the G99 application and response from our District Network Operator because we have a system capable of generating more than 3.68kW and our selected export company want to see the confirmation.
