Rescued a couple of NAS appliances from the recycling skip at $dayjob. They still have active firmware being shipped so got them up to date, reformatted and up and running.
Seriously considering, and starting to take steps, to reduce our reliance on $bigtech. I've already migrated the domain registration and DNS for hatstand.org.uk away from hover.com and over to Mythic Beasts so it's hosted from a UK resource that's less likely to be affected by the current situation in the US.
Setup a new email address, hosted in Germany, that will become my new regular email address, replacing my vanilla gmail account.
